UNDERSTANDING YOUR LEADERSHIP EFFECTIVENESS

Most of us have evolved a preferred way of leading, managing, coaching, and working with other people. Our leadership style and behavior is mostly unconscious. Until we attend a leadership program, receive some feedback in a performance review or as part of a development process, or run into a difficult situation that causes us to think about what we are doing, we don’t usually have the time or inclination to ask “what kind of leader am I?” We’re just too busy leading.
