After getting their carload of stuff inside and going out for pizza (and air-conditioning), Mike and Billy settled in to spend their first night on the living room floor. With no TV to watch, they just talked awhile. Eventually they fell asleep, their big adventure about to begin.
The next day they had a few things on their agenda before the movers showed up, the primary one being getting Billy signed up for football. He had played since he was eight and was pretty good. He wasn't D-1 college football material, but they figured he could probably walk on at a smaller school and get on the team. He was a decent size. Five foot eleven and a hundred and eighty pounds.
