CHANGE OR DIE

Change is a necessity, not a luxury. All organisations change or die, even traditional societies.

If you travel across the Mongolian steppe you will occasionally spot a nomad’s yurt, or domestic tent. They all look the same and they all have a small wooden door which always faces due south. It looks like a scene that has not changed for thousands of years. And then you get closer. Outside one yurt you spot a small generator; outside another, a motorbike and outside a third, a satellite dish.
