Conclusion

In our opinion, Internet-based 360-degree feedback is the future of employee assessment, whether it be for developmental or appraisal purposes. We realize that using 360-degree feedback for appraisal purposes is very controversial. However, if the legitimate concerns of people who now oppose such use can be addressed, we believe it can improve the quality of performance appraisals in organizations, thus improving the performance of these organizations around the world.
