Conclusion

This initial experience suggests that distance technology can support the one-on-one feedback needed for leadership development programs. Although this study certainly identifies some important questions and measurement tools for videoconferenced feedback, we must emphasize that it is just a beginning. We believe that the next steps taken should include an expansion of this investigation, asking more questions about the process in order to examine and understand the implications of using alternative methods of delivering feedback and to identify the boundaries within which the process should operate.
