Helping Superiors

When the superiors of a person who is working on leadership development are involved in the follow-up process and are given access by the participant to the results of the follow-up, they are then able to use the information to help the individual in a coaching framework. That is, they can see whether change has occurred and can identify areas where progress has been minimal or nonexistent. Then they can work with the person to focus additional attention on those areas. It's important, however, that superiors be granted access only if the participant so chooses.
