FAIR'S FAIR

Aside from the obvious organizational advantages of increasing the performance and satisfaction of individual women, all the practices described here can contribute to the advancement of women in general and thus to having a senior management that is more gender representative. The study suggests that treating women more fairly addresses two major issues related to advancing women. First, increased performance is a critical variable for promoting women in sufficient numbers up the managerial track. Second, increased career satisfaction can reduce the turnover and attrition often seen in the ranks of women executives.
