KEEP MOVING
In a remote public market in the Guatemalan highlands, I found myself packed in among hundreds of locals shouldering their way through the narrow rows between the stalls, where everything from cornmeal to kittens was for sale. When I slowed down a little to look more closely at something, I felt myself being propelled forward by a hand in the small of my back. Behind me a tiny woman was politely but firmly keeping me moving through the crowd. I noticed this was a frequent practice among the locals.
