CCL has devoted a lot of time and resources over the past twenty years to studying the key events in the lives of executives. One of the conclusions from that work is that the most effective leaders have the ability to reflect on a key event and draw from the important lessons it taught them. They don't fall into the trap that T. S. Eliot described: “We have the experience but miss the meaning.”
