For the record, let me be clear: I am in no way ever going to win any kind of award, much less something as prestigious as a Pulitzer. But let me also be clear that if I did win a Pulitzer, I would have a shrine for it built in my office, with exhibit lighting and Dolby surround sound. People walking anywhere near my office would be forced to pass through a narrow turnstile, like at a ballgame, and trudge dutifully past my award.
