Sixteen participants and two senior managers took part in the interviews. From the interviews and surveys we learned that the business projects provided a rich learning experience.

Participants found the business project process valuable because they gained opportunities to learn and practice skills associated with working on a virtual team, developed a broader sense of how the organization functions, and were exposed to higher management and built relationships with others with whom they would not normally work.
