Recently, the North American Solutions Group (NASG) at Xerox asked the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) to design and deliver an initiative in support of its succession planning process. The initiative involved fifty-two high-potential individuals ready to move into a management role of greater scope. Because it was geared toward further developing these employees to prepare them for the next step in their careers, the initiative was called the Emerging Leader (EL) program.
