GENTLE AND TIRELESS
For all his gruffness, he could be one of the most sensitive people I have ever known. I watched him care for his wife, Josephine, as she battled multiple sclerosis for many years, until eventually succumbing to the disease. He attended to her gently and tirelessly and was always in attendance at charity walks, employee picnics, Halloween parties, or anywhere else he thought he could traverse with Jo's wheelchair.
