AN OPPORTUNITY

Learning how to deal with social identity conflicts isn't easy, but it is possible. Optimally, leaders who are multiculturally competent will deal effectively with social identity conflicts in the workplace, and their behaviors will serve as a model for the community at large.

Currently, societal tensions spill over into the workplace. It is hoped that in the future, skill in dealing with such tensions will spill over from the workplace back to society as a whole.
