By practicing inquiry and reflection on a variety of experiences, leaders can develop their capacity to make wise choices. To develop wisdom, leaders must engage with both surface and deep reflection and the habits of reflective practice.

Reflection should not be an end in itself. It is connected with the cycle of experience, and leaders should continue to grow in experience to deepen in reflection.
