CLEARING HURDLES

Change is not easy. Identifying barriers you are likely to encounter on the path to your goal can help you avoid them or be better prepared to face them when they arise. Barriers can take many forms. For instance, we have all developed habits that prevent us from achieving what we want to, but that are difficult to break. Making a change usually involves breaking a routine that is comfortable. Identifying aspects of the change you want to make that may not be comfortable or easy will enable you to develop a strategy to avoid or cope with internal obstacles.
