Responses to Results Achieved

At ECU, extensive efforts were undertaken to form and educate the teams of change agents and the campus community and community at large via the Provost Convocation and the town meetings and elicit their input. Every effort was made to ensure that interaction took place between the campus and the administration and that all input was duly recognized and considered. From the beginning, the local newspaper began to report positively on the changes. On February 17, 2003, The Daily Reflector published the following editorial:
