Courageous Ability

Courage is defined by The New Oxford American Dictionary as an ability to disregard fear. It is also defined as the ability to face extreme dangers and difficulty without retreating and further defined as the ability to endure times of adversity. Words that are synonymous with courage are guts, resolute, tenacious, nerve, boldness, gallant, and brave.

Moral courage is an ability to maintain a moral action despite adversity to do so. It could involve the maintenance of rule despite its unpopularity. It could involve going against a rule that could be immoral if employed.
