The second power attribute to informal leadership is intellectual attraction. Intellectual attraction is the ability to use one’s thinking as a motivator of others. The term beautiful mind often describes this attribute.

A beautiful mind can be demonstrated by one’s ability to think outside the norm of thinking, to conceptualize or develop ideas and strategies to solve problems, and to utilize logical processing of information quality before acting on it. It is not necessarily a measure of someone’s performance on an IQ test.
