YOUR COMMITMENT TO PRACTISE

So, it’s a good idea now to review all your work from your Leader iD profile and the ideas you have collected from the 45 insights and make some plans. This is where the ‘rubber hits the road’. You need to be honest with yourself and be in a position to answer the following question: what are you actually committing to practise as a result of your time invested in reading this book?

Three things separate those who are serious about their development from the ‘also-rans’:

  • a commitment to focused practice
  • a regular review of that practice
  • daily and weekly reflection of performance and personal growth.
