The new generation of grids enables the sharing of a wide variety of resources, including hardware, software packages, knowledge information, licenses, specialized devices, and other grid services [1]. These resources are geographically distributed and owned by different organizations. The fact that users typically have little or no knowledge of the resources contributed by other participants in the grid poses a significant obstacle to their use.
