Linux installation

PostgreSQL can easily be installed on Linux with the use of the PostgreSQL Linux installer:

Go to the PostgreSQL installer download web page at https://www.enterprisedb.com/downloads/postgres-postgresql-downloads.
Select the PostgreSQL version you want to install.
Select an appropriate Linux installer for PostgreSQL.
Click the download button to download the installer.
Run the installer once it has been downloaded and follow all installation instructions appropriately.
Once you have provided the information needed by the installer, PostgreSQL will be installed on your system.

Now that we have set up PostgreSQL on our system, we can commence with the creation of the messenger API.
