Creating the project

Create a new project in IntelliJ and select TornadoFX (this option is shown if the plugin is installed correctly), and then select tornadofx-gradle-project as shown in the following screenshot:

Selecting TornadoFX with Gradle automatically generates some starter code with a pre-filled Gradle script file— namely, build.gradle— and adds dependencies required by Kotlin and TornadoFX.
