RAMBO: The MBA Alternative

In fact, Henry Mintzberg’s disenchantment with wider business instruction led to his pioneering what has been dubbed the anti-MBA or the Real-Alternative MBA (RAMBO); its detractors describe it as a feminine RAMBO. With the help of the United Kingdom’s Lancaster University, he launched his International Master’s in Practising Management (IMPM) in 1996 to encouraging managers to become more reflective, which is, of course, the essence of experiential learning.
