Monday through Friday is the normal workweek. Business hours vary.

Paid vacation days generally start at 6 days the first year, 8 days the second year, 10 days the third, 12 the fourth, and 14 days for years five through nine.

Most years there are 7 official holidays. These are complemented by 12 “civic” holidays, which are not paid but are often observed. A multitude of local festivals and celebrations, which include Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and religious holidays, will also compete with your schedule.
