PART SIXTEEN

Creativity

Creativity is largely unmanageable. Spontaneity can’t easily be channelled and creative people can be viewed as non-conformists or mavericks in a rigidly structured or regulated workplace. Everyone is capable of being creative, given the right tools, time and encouragement, so while we can’t manage creativity, we can create an environment that allows it to flourish.

Of the many creative thinking tools extant, this small collection includes models which can be used in the moment, without special equipment, and with the potential to create startling results. Give ‘permission’ for your team members to think creatively!
