The big picture

A tick-box culture is driven by rules, controls, systems and processes. A high-performance culture accepts that certain basic controls are needed as a platform from which to jump into high performance.

Imagine the scene: ABC Corporation employs 300 people. Every 1st March, the HR department sends a reminder to every manager in the corporation that they must set and agree objectives for their team members by 1st April.
