Properties Test

This test type looks at the AUT's command buttons, data display objects, input data objects, etc. Common properties that are examined include

  • The size and alignment of objects

  • Which objects are enabled and disabled

  • Which items have been added, removed, or changed (since the baseline capture)

Examining these properties helps to predetermine problems that may occur during the data tests. Using the same codes from the data test helps to identify the window/tab and object faster.
