Alan M. Davis is a professor of information systems at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. He also serves as president of The Davis Company, a consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations define, acquire, and construct systems that address actual needs. He has consulted for many corporations since 1975, including Boeing, British Telecom, Cadence Design Systems, Cigna Insurance, Federal Express, Flight Dynamics, Fujitsu, Great Plains Software, IBM, Loral, MCI, Mitsubishi Electric, NEC, NTT, Rock-well, Schlumberger, Sharp, Software Productivity Consortium, Storage Tek, and Sumitomo.
