Automating Remote Configuration
Although JUNOS contains many features to automate configuration on a device-by-device basis, human error can be introduced when configurations on devices differ in ways that cause unexpected effects in the network. Using the aforementioned strategies in conjunction with the tools for remote administration of the configuration, such as the JUNOScript APIs, it is possible to build systems to make configuration consistent not only across a single device, but also across the entire network. You can find a detailed explanation on using these tools in Chapters 10 and 11.
