In today’s tight market space, service and application providers have to maintain their competitiveness through constant innovation. New services, faster time-to-market deployment schedules, and tighter SLA requirements create more pressure on existing network resources. Consolidation of resources and access to CPU and I/O in server-based application space has already been in the works for several years.
