Command Line Interface

Are you looking for more background on how a particular feature works? You don't need to turn any further than the various Help commands, which you can use while logged in to the router through the CLI:

  • ? — Lists all the valid entries at any point of the command line.

  • Help topic command_name — Displays configuration guidelines for any command entered as the command_name.

  • Help syslog syslog_message — Displays the meaning of specific syslog_messages.
