Summary

In this chapter, we dived deep into inferential statistics and learned about various concepts and methods in Julia to work with different kinds of datasets. We started with understanding the normal distribution, which is a must when dealing with statistics. In parallel, we started exploring Distributions.jl and various methods provided by Julia. We then moved on to Univariate distributions and understanding why they are so important. We also explored some other distributions, such as Chi, Chi-square, and Cauchy. Later in the chapter, we studied what z-score, p-value, one-tailed, and two-tailed tests are about. After studying the chapter, we should be able to understand the datasets and apply inferential statistics to gain insights as well ...
