HTML5 introduced a new feature called Application Cache that allows your web app to cache network resources locally. You can also control and configure this cache much better than the earlier browser caching techniques. With Application Cache, your mobile app can work better, even in situations where there is slow or no network coverage. Your app is faster, as it can find many of the resources stored locally instead of fetching them from the server.
