Throughout this book and in systems that I helped to develop, I attempt to apply this technique as a predominating principle in building systems. This eliminates my designs and limits the ability to extend a system as new requirements come in. This further provides a guideline for applying other patterns. Throughout this book, I will explore ways in which to ensure that you can gain the same flexibility and power of design.
