About the Author
Simon Kloostra is known mostly for his blog, JoomlaSEO(joomlaseo.com), which is essentially devoted to the same subjects as this book: search engine optimization (SEO) and performance for the Joomla! content management system. In addition, he has written articles for the online Joomla! Community Magazine and occasional guest posts for several (Dutch) Joomla portals. He has conducted workshops and training sessions on numerous occasions, including the Dutch Joomladays.
Kloostra is a professional web site designer and works as an SEO consultant for SK-Web and Perfect Web Team, both based in the Netherlands. Naturally, SEO is a major focus of these web sites. He also has a great passion for (speed) windsurfing.
