Time for action – removing the fixed footer text

At the bottom of the page, there's often a hyperlink to the template designers website. This is also the case in the Genesis template we've just installed. You can delete it as follows:

  1. Navigate to Extensions | Template Manager. On the Templates page, click on Jp_genesis_j2.5 Details and Files.
  2. In the next screen, click on the Edit main page template link. You're taken to the HTML editor screen.
  3. In the editor, find the following text and delete it:
