Time for action – adding a banner module

To replace the banner contents, we need to place a module in the banner position. This is because the template contains code to check for module contents in this position. If any content is present, the Placeholder Banner text will automatically be replaced.

1. Go to Extensions | Module Manager and click on New to make a new module of the Random Image type. The purpose of this module is to display a random image from a specific folder on the web server.
2. As the module Title, enter banner. Set the title to be hidden.
3. Select Position: banner.
4. Under Basic Options, enter images/homebanner. Enter the Width of the image: 840 pixels. Save changes.
