Time for action – downloading and activating a new template

For your site redesign, you've hit upon a great looking template on the Web. In this example, we'll use the Genesis template developed by JoomlaPraise. It is a clean and basic template that offers enough opportunities to customize the layout and appearance. To download the free template, you must first register with the site of the developer.

  1. Go to http://www.joomlapraise.com and click Templates | Free Joomla templates. Click Genesis – Free Joomla template and click Join the Club. On the next screen, you'll see a Free membership option. Click Join now to register. After completing the registration procedure, you can log in to the JoomlaPraise site to download the template you need.
