Time for action – preparing a new logo image

Our current design looks very much like any Joomla site—and that big Joomla logo on every page isn't helping much! Let's replace it. To do this, we'll first create a replacement logo image:

  1. Open up your image editing tool. In this example, we'll use Adobe Photoshop, but any image editor will do.
  2. The original Joomla logo image is 225 pixels wide and 50 pixels high, so to make sure it fits the existing space it's best to create a document of the same dimensions. Click on New. In the Width and Height boxes, fill in 225 and 50 pixels. Choose Background Contents: Transparent.
