Step 1: customize the layout
In Chapter 3, First Steps: Getting to Know Joomla you've seen that the overall site layout (columns, colors, typography, and so on) is set in the site's template files. Joomla allows you to edit the current template using the Template Manager. In this case, we'll replace the Joomla logo by your client's logo image and also change the header image (the dark blue swirly background that currently contains the text We are volunteers).
