DISPLAYING SIMPLE IMAGE GALLERY IN AN ARTICLE

Now that your large-format images are uploaded, it's time to make the gallery.

Go to the back end of Joomla, and select Content Category Manager. Make a new category called Nutrition, and assign it to the Photos section. (See Lesson 8 if you need a refresher on creating categories.)

With your new category created, go to Content Article Manager. Click the New button to make a new article. Name the article “Photo Gallery,” and assign it a section of Photos and a category of Nutrition. (If you need more detailed instructions for making an article, refer to Lesson 9.)

In the article editing window, enter the following text:

We're excited to learn about the importance of fruits and vegetables in our diets. Below are pictures of some of our favorite fruits and vegetables.

Underneath this text, enter the following code:

{gallery}fruit{/gallery}

Save the article. Now, go to Menus Main Menu, and create a link to the Photo Gallery article you just created. Click the New button, choose Articles Article Layout from the list, enter a title of Photo ...
