INCLUDING A TWITTER FEED

Twitter (www.twitter.com) is a popular social networking tool, in use by organizations and companies throughout the world. Fictitious Elementary has an account, www.twitter.com/fictelem, and they would like to include their Twitter feed on the website, on the right side of the home page.

The Fictitious Elementary Twitter page looks like Figure 22-3 now.

In the lower-right corner of the Twitter page, find the link for Resources and click it. A screen similar to the one shown in Figure 22-4 should appear.

Click the link for Widgets, followed by Widgets for My Website. Finally, choose the Profile Widget, and you should arrive at a screen similar to the one shown in Figure 22-5. Change the username on the Settings tab to fictelem, as shown. If you already have a Twitter account, your username may display here instead.

Switch to the Dimensions tab and check the box that says auto width. Then switch to the Appearance tab and customize some of the color settings for the widget, as shown in Figure 22-6.
