JOOMLA!'S DOCUMENTATION

Your first stop for information should be the documentation that is built into Joomla itself. In the back end of Joomla, at the far right side of the menu, is a link for Help. Clicking this link takes you to a help index, where you can access all of Joomla's built-in documentation for functions and features.

Most pages in Joomla also provide a Help link in the upper-right corner. Clicking that Help link will take you to help specific to the page on which you are working (e.g., if you click the Help link while you're creating an article, you'll get help specifically pertaining to creating and editing articles in Joomla).

If the built-in help doesn't provide enough information, Joomla also offers a full set of documentation, tutorials, and other help at http://docs.joomla.org. Not only can you get useful information from this site, you may contribute to the documentation as well if you wish, or correct any errors in it. This is a great way to volunteer to help the Joomla project.

Occasionally, configuration articles are published in the Joomla Community Magazine, at http://magazine.joomla.org. Articles are also occasionally published at http://community.joomla.org.
