Configuring Search
Search is another great feature that's very easy to add to a Joomla website. Visitors can type in a few words to quickly find matching pages within your website. Joomla also enables you to track what words are being entered in search as well, so you can learn what your visitors are looking for. This can provide valuable feedback for improving your website if many visitors are searching for similar terms.
Generally speaking, it doesn't make much sense to include search on a site with only a handful of pages. I would recommend including it on sites with more than 50 pages. If the site has fewer than 50 pages but more than 20, it may still make sense to include search, depending on the website's content.
