Countless studies of what managers actually do daily highlights the centrality of communication. The business of being on the telephone, emailing, dealing with correspondence, attending meetings, interviewing, giving presentations is not interruptions or distractions from their work â it is their work.
Part Four focuses on three ‘set pieces’ of communication in the life of a busy manager: giving presentations, taking part in and chairing meetings, and conducting interviews.
