Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin group of companies, always keeps a notebook in his pocket in order to write down ideas. It is a wise habit for any leader or manager.
If you are a good listener you will soon net plenty of fish – fish of all shapes, sizes and varieties. Besides providing you with the stimulus to think for yourself, other people can also give you plenty of new ideas to work on.
