Field Marshal Lord Slim defined integrity by its effects: ‘It is the quality which makes people trust you.’ But what is it about integrity that induces that feeling?
The word itself means entireness, wholeness, soundness. It is a holistic word. You might be tempted to conclude that integrity as such does not exist; perhaps it is the pattern of all your moral qualities.
