Our fears are usually about the future. Most of the things we fear never happen, and most of the rest don't turn out the way we expect them to happen. Nonetheless, fears are real and you can't make them disappear. With practice, however, you can recognize them for what they are and do your best to override them. For courage doesn't mean being unafraid but not allowing oneself to be invaded and held hostage by fear.
