image SINCE IT WAS FOUNDED in 1993, Dyson has grown to become a global brand with over $1 billion in annual revenues. How did it happen? The story largely revolves around the company’s founder, James Dyson, who is far from a lifer in the vacuum industry. In fact, his entry into the industry was really the result of immense frustration and a penchant for engineering. In the late 1970s, Dyson was frustrated with the vacuums on the market.
